I’m Laura, a professional hair artist and freelance makeup artist. I’m originally from Elgin, Texas and currently living in Austin, Texas. I’m a dog mom to my sweet boy Santi who I adopted from Austin Pets Alive. He is always up for an adventure, so if you know any amazing hiking spots I would love to hear.

I’ve been married to the love of my life Joel for about 10 years now. It’s crazy to say that! When you’re in love time sure does fly!

My Journey started off in 2011 I was doing hair and makeup for my friends and it slowly over the years turned into my part-time career. In 2013 I worked for a very impressive bridal company, there is where my career and love for hair and makeup really took off. After about 2 years of only working part-time for the company, I attended a hair class taught by Stephanie Brinkerhoff, and being there and really felt that this is where I needed to be. I continued to work for the bridal company as one of their top artists for another few years. By 2019 I felt my career was missing something, I didn’t fill fulfilled. By 2019 I had this crazy idea to start my own bridal business, trust me when I say I was scared as hell to take this leap of faith and do this on my own. I knew nothing about business, but I knew this is where my heart was leading me to! So, in 2020 I launched my Luna beauty & bridal and yes, I survived the Global Pandemic!
